We cannot help but notice the Team GB track squad have some pretty awesome gym kit game.
Admittedly, it doesn’t matter how much money we spend on kit, we’re never going to able to squat like an Olympic Champion (or turn as big a gear quite as fast). However, a little bit of investment in kit can certainly make us feel at least a little more motivated to try to beat our own gym PBs.
Cool and quirky gym gear that appeals to women has absolutely exploded in popularity in recent years, with tons of brands jumping on the wagon. Some of it’s painfully expensive, but not all of it.
Here’s are a few of our favourite pieces…
Primal Stone Women’s Crop Leggings and Airespan T-Shirt
We included Primal in our TWC20 microsite, and wrote about their lifestyle kit here.
This gear is designed by cyclists, running a cycling specific brand – but for 2016 they decided to branch into kit we can wear for more casual exploits too.
The leggings are supper stretchy, and just £60, and the Airespan material in the top (which is £35) is simply amazing at wicking sweat away. You can do all manner of fitness classes in this, and stay dry as a bone – we reviewed it here.
Nike Legendary Engineered Swell and Fierce Sports Bra
Red means you mean business right? We love these leggings from Nike, and they’re £65 which isn’t bad in a market with some pretty hefty price tags. They use Dri-FIT fabric to help keep you comfortable as you work, and the waistband is raised to provide coverage as you lift and bend.
Nike pair these with their Pro Fierce Sports bra (£33). This is designed for medium impact activities (not running or mountain biking!) and has molded cups to provide a little extra definition – so you avoid the mono-boob.
