Decathlon opened its doors to the public last Friday in Wandsworth’s Southside Shopping Centre, with an aim to make sports easily accessible to the mass.
The south-west Borough of London is home to many young active families, with the store’s good quality and inexpensive products helping to make sports available for everyone to access.
The store aims to build a strong relationship with clubs in the area, with over 65 different sports in store and online for the local community to choose from.
On the cycling front, they have a lot to offer. Their incredibly affordable range of B’Twin bikes, including a wide range of women’s specific models, ranges from £84.99 to £3000, featuring dutch style cruisers, hybrids, folding, mountain and road bikes.
And on the women’s clothing side of things, their prices are very competitive, with jerseys coming in at £20 and bib short prices starting from around £30
This store opening increases the number of stores in the UK to 18, with the plan to expand quicker in the UK and to open more stores over the next 3 years.
