Folding bicycle brand Tern, have brought out two limited-edition folding bicycles created for EKOCYCLE, an initiative championed by The Coca-Cola Company and global music artist and entrepreneur will.i.am.
EKOCYCLE work with brands to create new products from recycled materials, with both the Verge X20 and the Verge P9 holding some pretty interesting eco-friendly features.
Using hydroformed frames made from a minimum of 10% recycled aluminum, the rims have been made by a factory that is solar powered and virtually grid neutral.
The bikes are perfect for the city cyclist, folding in just under ten seconds, meaning they take up little room and are great for transporting on public transport when needed.
The Verge X20 is a Harrods only exclusive with only five pieces available and is retailing for £2,500, with the Verge P9 coming in at a more affordable price at £925.
They will both be available at Harrods along with more than 150 other EKOCYCLE lifestyle products at the EKOCYCLE shop which opened in the store on March 5.
