Let’s face it, it doesn’t matter whether it’s summer in the UK, having a waterproof jacket and some wind protection is an essential in cycling. One thing that we can all agree on is that when it comes to cycling jackets, we want something protecting, fitting, lightweight and totally stylish.
Polaris has been developing cycle wear since the 1980’s and has accrued a wealth of industry experience, expert knowledge and a strong army of avid customers. We’ve been impressed by their women’s specific kit to date with our favourite piece being the Mica windproof jersey, so expectations were pretty high for the new Challenge Pioneer Windproof and the Women’s Strata Pack-Away Waterproof jacket.
Polaris Challenge Pioneer Windproof cycling jacket
The Challenge Pioneer Windproof jacket has been developed as part of their new adventure Challenge Collection which aims to kit out even the most adventurous of cycle explorers who need the right apparel to take on the world.
The new Challenge Pioneer jacket is constructed from two layer fabric which boasts excellent wicking properties with a soft flock lining on the inside. The leisure-style cut is comfortable and allows for unrestricted rider movement when cycling.
