You may not have heard of VéloFocus, but you’ve certainly seen them…
Founded by Balint Hamvas and Sean Robinson, VéloFocus is a photography agency who specialise in women’s cycling. They’re the precariously perched guys on mopeds who follow the pro peloton during races. They’re the ones who camp out for the perfect action shots and often in the worst weather conditions. Together, these two talented photographers are compiling a collection of the very best moments from women’s cycling 2017.
VéloFocus has taken to Kickstarter to raise £20,000 in order to get The 2017 Women’s Cycling album printed and on your coffee table. You pledge however much you like to help the team reach their goal, but if you want to secure yourself a copy hot off the press, then you’ll need to pledge £35.
“They take amazing photos and play such a huge role in helping women’s cycling get the coverage it deserves” – Ashleigh Moolman Pasio (Cervélo Bigla)
The album will feature some of the most captivating images from the 2017 women’s road season, including all the UCI Women’s World Tour races. But, this album is far more than a glorified picture book, within the 240 glossy pages, there will be exclusive articles on key riders and themes from throughout the season.
If VéloFocus successfully raises £20,000 in pledges by July 22nd, the book will be printed and shipped in November ready for Christmas. So if you have a special cycling someone in your life, this would be the perfect gift to spoil them with – or, just treat yourself, why not?
“Vélofocus images are my favourite way to watch women’s cycling worldwide” – Alison Tetrick (Cylance Pro Cycling)
It’s quite clear that you need this in your life adorning your coffee table or taking pride position on your mantlepiece. So, if you want to find out more information about the 2017 Women’s Cycling album, or you want to reserve your copy by making a pledge, head over to the Kickstarter page here.
