Now in its second year, La Course by The Tour de France has become one of the most exciting races in the women’s peloton.

This year, we were treated to an incredible display of grit and determination under heavy clouds which released chaos from the early laps of the 90km race.
Nearly every rotation of the 7km course featured a crash, but none but one proved to have serious repercussions – a broken collarbone for Boels-Dolmans Ellen van Dijk.
Most predictions were for a hard and fast race, culminating in a bunch sprint for first place. The pace was definitely hard and fast, but Rabo Liv’s Anna van der Breggen had other plans for the finale – read the full report here.
We were lucky enough to spend a weekend with race sponsors, Specialized – enjoying a ride around Paris on Saturday and a fantastic view of the race on Sunday.
