Nail-Biting Sprint Finish Costs Elinor Barker the Gold

The Welsh gold medal olympian takes home the silver from the Track Cycling World Championships

Team GB is out in Hong Kong for the Track Cycling World Championships. So far there have been crashes, celebrations and disappointed.

Elinor Barker showed incredible performance at the Rio games last summer as she and teammates took home the gold in the team pursuit. A favourite to take home the gold in Hong Kong, Barker fought hard on the track in a suspenseful scratch race to miss first place by moments as the win went to Italy’s Rachele Barbieri.
