The ninth stage of the 18th annual Giro Rosa kicked off yesterday in Palinuro where the riders set out to cycle 141.8km to the finish in Palinuro.
To recap on Stage eight… We saw a strong peloton fractured towards the end of the stage on the cat climb. Two riders headed to the line neck-and-neck with a crash in the final 3km and with an extraordinary comeback, Lucinda Brand (Team Sunweb) took the win.
