Urban Bike Wear Brand Needs Your Help on Kickstarter!

Help the House of Astbury raise the funding needed to get their urban cycling apparel brand off the ground.

House of Astbury, an urban bike wear brand made by three friends in their house in Peckham, London, are seeking your help on Kickstarter.

The cycling apparel company make affordable and fashionable cycling accessories and, apparel for females with a punk twist. All of their products are screen printed with their distinctive reflective ink to keep you seen and safe on the roads.

Made for women, by women, their subversive slogans on their garments feature a feminist touch. TWC are big fans of their Thunder Thigh leggings, which feature a reflective bolt of lightening giving off a playful spin on the common derogatory phrase.

With experience between the three of them in screen printing and product design, they’ve grown the business for the past two years through their own social network and, word of mouth on an unpaid basis. Now looking to take things up a notch, they’ve turned to Kickstarter for a little help.

The money raised will enable them to manufacture their first batch of leggings in a proper factory in the big smoke with wages to pay their workers! Their leggings are made with four way stretch fabric and are great for when you want to be able to move comfortably on the go (they’re also perfect for running in).

Make sure to also check out their musettestool rolls and snoods, they are awesome! And stay tuned with their Kickstarter project via the House of Astbury Facebook page.
