The Women’s Tour, Stage 2: What to Expect

The lowdown on Stage 2 of the Women's Tour

Yesterday saw the start of the inaugural Women’s Tour and it did not disappoint. In a nail biting sprint finish Emma Johansson of the Orica AIS team beat living legend Marianne Vos of the Rabobank Liv across the line by a matter of inches.

As we head into the second day, a slightly longer stage, we are looking forward to another exciting day out on the road. Here is what we can expect from the day ahead:

Distance:  118.5km

The Route:

Kicking off in the market town of Hinckley in Leicestershire, Stage 2 will head north east towards the outskirts of Leicester before turning south east back through Northamptonshire and on to the finish on the Embankment in Bedford.
