At TWC our number one goal is to encourage, motivate and inspire more women to ride by sharing demystify articles and stories that demonstrate the power of two wheels.
When we launched in 2012, women’s cycling was rapidly growing, and now in 2016 it’s still picking up speed. There’s more kit, more bikes, more events and more just in general for women who ride. In fact, major cycling retailers are telling us that their fastest growing customer segment is female. Not to blow our horn or anything, but since our 2015 annual page views were up 220% vs 2014 page views, we think it’s fair to say readers are on the rise, too!
All that ‘more’ tells us that there are women getting into cycling and they’ll need basic beginner insight into how to get started. However, we’re aware that those that began the journey with us back in 2012 will be after something different.
Add in that we cover news, tips, advice and reviews across road, mountain biking and commuting – and there’s a lot we could write about. However, we want to make sure we write about then right stuff.
