Video: Female Riders Race Team Slay Scottish Trails

If this team of female shredders doesn't get you pumped about riding, nothing will

The new team edit from Female Riders Race Team is a burst of energetic fun that’ll get you feeling excited to ride bikes. These women slay the trails of Scotland in a graceful and unstoppable train, hitting features like a force to be reckoned with. So who are they?

Female Riders Incorporated (f riders inc) is an urban sport brand designed for women, by women. Born from the frustration of female riders struggling to find kit, rides and women to thrash with, f riders inc set out to provide a variety of kit and build a sense of community for aspiring adrenaline junkies.

In 2016, f riders inc formed their mountain bike race team: Female Riders Race Team. The team supports a number of enthusiastic female athletes looking to compete in the National and World Cup circuits.

Their 2017 roster includes: Team Captain, Roz Newman (Enduro), Bex Baraona (Enduro), who finished 7th in the Enduro World Series last year, Elena Melton (DH/Enduro), Polly Henderson (XC/Enduro), Cairn Bell (DH) and Ellen Flewitt (DH).

The team supports riders from the grass-roots of racing, through to the elite level. Their new video features the women taking on the stunning trails of Scotland, doing what they do best.

It’s brilliant that teams of women like f rider inc are working hard to help push women’s riding into the media, and forefront of mountain biking. Having groups and organisations of enthusiastic riders is what the industry needs to help grow, develop and promote this awesome sport.
