Mountain biking is getting more technical and more thrilling, with steep trails and features to really challenge your limits. The race scene is no different, as event organisers are mixing things up a little with new event formats and ways to challenge riders.
New for 2017 is a 3-day enduro race in the stunning setting of Davos, Switzerland. Following the success of Les Arcs enduro, the event is a 2 man effort, with teams racing some of the most beautiful loamy and technical Swiss trails. The Davos Enduro2 is a blind race, with 300 riders taking on 15 different timed descents over the 3 day event.
You and your partner will be chasing down the trails together, in order to out run the other teams. This format is great for riders of all abilities as it takes off the solo pressure of racing.
When: Friday September 22nd – Sunday September 24th 2017
Cost: £325 per team (£162.50 per rider)
So if you fancy a weekend away with your shredding significant other, or you fancy showing the boys what a ladies team can do, get involved and make it your challenge for 2017.
Tickets go on sale at 18:00 on January 1st 2017. For more information about the event and to register, check out their website here.
