Ladies Only Bike Week (Road)

 

Where: Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

Sun, fun and social cycling with the Up and Active women’s week. With huge success in previous years, the women’s road cycling week is back in the sunny location of Playa Blanca, Lanzarote.

The week consists of everything you could want. Cycling smooth flowing roads with expert guides, skills training, nutrition information and social fun. All riders are welcome, from novice to intermediates, with rides going everyday with varying routes to real test your abilities.

Price includes accommodation, airport transfers in Lanzarote, all coaching, all meals and drinks. Excludes flights & coffee stops on the bike.

CTS: Hors Categorie Cycling Camp (Road)

Where: Colorado Rockies, USA

When: July 19th – 23rd 2016

Price: £1050 per person

This intense road cycling week will tackle some of the toughest climbs on the map. If you’re looking to push your limits and overcome some epic challenges, then this is it.

Located in the beautiful Colorado Rocky mountains, this 4 day course of cycling and training will take you through some breathtaking scenery of the American landscapes.

Although geared towards more experienced riders, the expert guides will help accommodate all ability levels.

Price includes daily training sessions with nutritional assistance, high altitude cycling advice, professional mechanics, daily maintenance checks, bike assembly, hydration products and meals.

 Kent Velo Girls (Road)

Where: Kent, UK

When: March 12th – March 18th 2016

Price: £20 per day, per person

If making the trip over international waters is too much for you, or your budget, then the Kent Velo Girls annual women’s week may be ideal for your cycling holiday.

The 7 day women’s holiday is running for the 10th year after continued success. This week will test your stamina, strength and endurance whilst brushing up on those essential cycling skills.

Beginning on a Saturday, the rides vary from 30, 40 and 60 miles with a rest day on the Tuesday for talks and tutorials. It’s a great time to catch up, and get to know one another.

Anna Glowinski & Switchbacks (MTB)

Where: Malaga, Spain

When: April 6th – April 10th

In the sunny remote location of the Sierra Nevada mountains lies some of the most gnarly and extreme MTB trails.

Pro-rider, Anna Glowinski has teamed up with Switchback MTB to provide a week of MTB skills and shredding. The trip includes 100% uplift service over the week, then it’s all downhill from there.

Improve your speed, skills and tricks on this women’s camp while soaking up the sun and doing what you love most, riding bikes!

Trek Dirt Series (MTB)

Where: US and Canada

When: Throughout May – September

Price: £270 per person

Trek have been a big brand promoter of women in mountain biking, supporting big names such as Tracy Moseley and Rachel Atherton. They care about the encouragement of women, so in 2000, they launched the Trek Dirt Series.

The 2 day camps run specifically for women to progress their riding, gain valuable riding knowledge and meet other like-minded female riders.

The camps run throughout the US and Canada, making use of the stunning natural MTB landscapes. With skills training in the morning, and riding in the afternoon, you’ll get a lot out of this short break.
