Volta Pro Tours offer guided luxury cycling holidays in Portugal, and they’ve teamed up with us to offer one lucky reader an expenses paid weekend away.
The newly established cycling tour company is the brainchild of Adriano Placidi, a passionate cyclist who fell in love with the Portuguese cycling experience and wanted to share it with others.
In their inaugural year, Volta Pro Tours are offering four unique and tailor made experiences – including a women’s only ‘Grand Tour Alentejo’, a ‘Grand Mountain Tour’ over some of the most notable climbs in Europe, and the ‘N2 Challenge’ which takes place over the longest road in Portugal – a real test of attrition at 500 miles over five days, supported by professional rider Yanto Barker.
All tours feature vehicle support, and Team Volta’s pro mechanics and soigneurs are always on hand throughout. Accommodation includes some stunning hotels, with equally impressive restaurants offering fine local cuisine.
Our competition winner will be able to ride on any event in 2017, but most relevant to Total Women’s Cycling readers is the ‘Women’s Grand Tour Alentejo’ – taking place between September 29 and October 3.
