For the first time, after four strong men’s lines, the Gods have listened and Levis have brought out their very first Commuter Women’s range. The exciting collection gives women a new way to get to work and around hop around town in style.

The women’s range follows the same simplicity of the iconic denim brand, with style, comfort and climate-control being its main focus. What’s great is that the garments don’t look like technical pieces of clothing at all but hide some very welcomed bike features.

Highlights from the collection includes the water and dirt repellent Commuter Windbreakers with seam seal construction and the Trucker Jacket which has a removable, packable waterproof overlay jacket for when the rain hits. The range includes a selection of modern knits and woven tops, which all feature lowered back hems and thermoregulating fabrics.

In our eyes the most exciting part of the line is all about the jeans. Until now, female riders haven’t had a lot of options in that department, with there being around only six pairs of women’s specific cycling jeans available in the entire market. The Levis Commuter Skinny Jean comes available in three different styles, classic denim, black and light grey.

We were lucky enough to try on a pair and we can’t quite believe how comfortable they are to wear and, move around in on the bike.

All the bottoms in the collection have deeper back pockets and are high rise, preventing them from falling down at the back whilst riding. They all also feature reflective seams for added visibility in the night.

Additional design and technical details across the line include rear u-lock holders and plenty of practical, secure pockets. The garments use a stretch mid weight denim to give you freedom when you move on the bike and feature anti-microbial technology to keep you smelling as fresh as a daisy.

The strong collection gives added bike value to the clothes you would wear everyday. All in all, it’s the ultimate urban clothing range for style conscious riders who don’t want to look like their wearing cycling gear.
