Searching for that one commuter bag to house your essentials, keep them safe and secure during transport can be a bit of a nightmare, but we came across the innovative designs from Vel-Oh and fell in love.
The brain child of a couple (in the married sense of the word) of cycling enthusiasts, Vel-Oh is a wonderful blend of creativity and function for the urban cyclist. We recently tested and reviewed the Vel-Oh Sunshine bag, and were really impressed with the results. So how happy are we that the new collection has launched on Kickstarter to take the brand to the next level? Very.
The new collection has a design for every urban commuter, from messenger bags to backpacks, there’s a variety to cater for everyone’s needs. Carefully handmade from waxed cotton and leather, Vel-Oh bags are well constructed, hard-wearing and stylish.
The Kickstarter campaign will run until August 26th with the aim of raising £10,000 in pledges in order to get the new collection off the ground. Varying amounts of pledge donations will secure you one – or more – bags from the collection.
Each model has been carefully considered to suit a commuter’s needs: zipped compartments, laptop space, secure and adjustable straps and more. Each functional design has been thought out to the very stitching.
The Kickstarter campaign officially launches on Friday July 22nd where it will run for one month, so you have plenty of time to browse the range and pre-order your favourite Vel-Oh!
