Easter weekend is fast approaching, and with it comes a long weekend and deliciously tempting chocolatey eggs.
It’s great to have the long bank holiday weekends whether you intend to spend them with your family, or your two wheels. If you’re like us, and partial to a sneaky egg or two, then maybe an off-setting calorie ride is in order.
With the brilliantly established Breeze network, and local cycling associations promoting women’s riding, we’ve been spoilt for choice this year with Easter rides and sportives.
Here’s 10 for you to get rolling with this weekend.
Wheels for Wellbeing Easter Bunny Ride
When: Friday March 25th 2016
Where: Greenwich Park
This cycling event is jointly ran between the Breeze network and Ride Social Ride to help raise funds for all Wheels for Wellbeing. This organization aims to support and encourage cycling for all abilities.
This Easter fun ride is 18 miles along cyclepaths which will take you through some of London’s finer tourist sights and along the Thames.
It’s available to everyone of all ages and abilities, and most bikes will be suitable for the type of riding, although a hybrid is recommended
