It would seem that exciting new developments are being unleashed from MET Helmets this year for both road and mountain bike. We’d be flat out lying if we said we weren’t a little bit eager to get our hands on their latest MTB lid, the Roam.

Launching later this year is MET Helmet’s all new trail lid. Constructed from a strong triple polycarbonate and EPS shell, the new Roam has extended coverage at the back of the head and around the temples without compromising on weight – 335g in size medium 360g in size medium (MIPS version).
The inner padding is designed with all-mountain riding in mind. An extended contact surface area is created by a link between the soft pads, which achieves the perfect stability without disturbing the internal airflow.

The Safe-T system allows you to really dial in a fine-tuned fit, regardless of head size. It works on three different adjustments making it a versatile fit for any rider. Thermoplastic rubber pad inserts help to increase comfort where the helmet comes into contact with the head. As a bonus feature, the MET Roam is completly ponytail compatible and can also be used with MET’s USB LED Light.
There are seven stunning colours to choose from which will each be available in three sizes: Small (52/56) – Medium (56/58) – Large (58/62).
The new MET Roam will be available in September and retail for £130 and £150 (with MIPS). For more information, watch the short video below.
