The women’s cycling surge is apparent in the addition of new races, emerging pro teams, and the increase in availability of kit made specifically for women who ride. With increased interest comes a growing market – and there are a handful of brands who have seen that opportunity and grabbed it with both hands.
These brands are the Champions of Women’s Cycling.
They are the brands who create kit that either makes cycling more accessible to women, or who cater for female riders after top end performance once only available to men. They are the brands that boast inspiring women within their teams, driving growth from the inside. They are the brands who understand how to speak to women, and produce marketing material that makes us want to collect our riding buddies and head for the hills.

Which is exactly what we did. We have pulled together twenty of the brands we really rate, photographed their kit in the hills of Surrey and Kent, and brought you overviews of each and every one.
The brands were selected by the TWC editorial team, with the help of our valued contributors. In the following pages you’ll find kit recommendations, interviews with inspiring women working in design and marketing, as well as hopefully a little inspiration to ride…
