Quite simply put: Juliana Bicycles are the epitome of women’s specific mountain bikes.

Being the sister company of legendary bike manufacturers, Santa Cruz, Juliana Bicycles carries on their pristine reputation with high-end carbon fibre frames fitted with the highest quality components.

The driving force behind the Juliana brand is celebrated mountain bike heroine, Juli Furtado. After her retirement from the World Cup race scene in the 1990’s, Juli dedicated her life to improving the image and industry for female mountain bikers on a global scale.

Partnering up with Santa Cruz, Juli and the team launched the first ever Women’s Specific Mountain bike in 1999: The Juliana.

Since then, mountain biking has come on leaps and bounds in terms of performance, kit and bike technology. Brands have been quick to keep up with the changes, to continually develop the latest technology for novices and professionals alike.

One particular area to have gained unstoppable momentum in recent years is the women’s mountain bike industry. Spending her time nurturing future generations of riders, and working hard to support women in riding everywhere, Juli Furtado and Santa Cruz partnered once more to create the Juliana Bicycle brand.

With Santa Cruz already paving the way for luxury high-end mountain bikes, the Juliana brand was born from a wealth of rider and manufacturer experience which enabled them to create the best women’s specific mountain bikes on the market today.

The Juliana Bicycle fleet launched in 2013 with four limited, and specific models to cater for all off-road adventures. Each model is designed by an expert team, hand crafted with exact precision, and tested by pro riders in Santa Cruz, California.

Since the official launch, Juliana Bicycles have continued to unleash quality high performance bikes to have every woman feeling like queen of the mountain.
