The winding lanes have been described as "similar to the roads of the Northern European Classics" - thanks to short, sharp rises and long stretches through exposed fields.
Similar to stages one and two, a bunch sprint is likely to be on the cards, but a breakaway could succeed thanks to the twists and turns which will slow a larger peloton down more than a small and select group or solo rider.

Chain Reaction Sprint, two: Royston, Outside Health Sports Centre, 45miles in, around 12.25pm
Strava Queen of the Mountains, Two: Therfield Heath, finish outside "The Greys", 46 miles in, around 12.30pm
Finish: Stevenage, High Street, around 1.20pm
