Chapeau! Madeleine Polka Stripe Jersey

Perhaps one of the most recognised jerseys from the Chapeau! range is the Madeleine which boasts comfort and style in a premium performance fabric.

This slim-fit jersey is constructed from moisture wicking material to help regulate your body temperature as you ride. A full-length zipper not only makes getting in/out of the jersey easier but it also comes in handy for unzipping some way to increase airflow.

There are two rear pockets to stash your essentials away in and another zipped pocket for the more important items, finished off with some reflective detailing to help keep you visible in low-light conditions.

Chapeau! Soulor Bib Shorts

Simple and understated, who doesn’t need a pair of ‘little black bib shorts’?

The Soulor Bib Shorts from Chapeau! are designed to be snug, offering muscle compression and a sleek fit. A full mesh back and straps not only remain lightweight but offers a great deal of breathability also.

Zig-zag stitching, external labels, reflective detailing and UV protection are just some of the finer details which make these bib shorts really stand out.

Chapeau! Women’s SS18 Collection: Verdict

There’s a certain assurance you get with Chapeau!’s cycling wear. You know it’ll look great because the care and attention to design detail are flawless and you know the quality of fabric will be of a premium blend, chosen for its performance inspiring qualities.

While I do believe that £90 for a singular jersey is rather on the high-side, I can appreciate the quality of this garment and the durability of it to perform continually after many rides and washes.

Contrastly, the Soulor bibs shorts are more affordable as £80 and yet, perform as well as some of the more expensive brands on the market. You really can’t go wrong with a good pair of black bib shorts.
