Outfoxed Jersey

When this brand spanking new line of jerseys landed on our desk, they really caught our eye. Outfoxed were offering bright, fresh and creative designs, completely different to anything that had landed on our desks before.

But a jersey can look as good as it likes, it is doesn't step up to the mark performance wise it is no use at all.

Outfoxed is based in the UK and states that its aim is to provide the female rider with stylish, functional and affordable jerseys to fit your personality.

At present there are seven designs in the range, all of which are pretty eye catching. I put the 'Start a Revolution' number to the test.

First up, the jersey is soft against the skin. Really soft in fact. I headed out for a four hour spin and throughout there were no complaints of itchy labels or scratchiness.

It was a hot day so the full zip and light breathable fabric definitely came in handy and I was happy to find that the latter really was true, the jersey wicked away my sweat really efficiently and kept me comfortable throughout.

The pockets on the jersey are perfectly adequate - I am more of a fan of three pockets but the two were perfect. There is also an additional zipped pocket which was great for stashing my valuables.

When it came to fit, I felt unfortunately that the jersey fell down a little. The shoulders and arms fit me perfectly but the jersey was just a little on the short side. I am a UK size 10 and wore the size small. Unfortunately I was not in bibs that day and found myself tugging the jersey down a lot, very conscious of my dreaded 'overhang' when down on the drops.

It should be noted that I am tall though at 5'9" so the jersey, I am sure, would be a perfect fit for a slightly more petite lady.

VERDICT:

A really nice looking jersey with fun, fresh designs that steps up to the mark and performs well too.

PROS:

Looks great and is very comfortable. I particularly like the fact that a tradition label has been replaced with a discreet, soft piece of lycra stitched into the jersey.

CONS:

It was a little short for my body (but don't forget, I am quite tall!)
