Premium cycling clothing experts Rapha have created a limited edition range of La Révolution casual supporter apparel to celebrate the women's La Course crit race this weekend.
La Course by Le Tour de France was first introduced in 2014, after Marianne Vos, Chrissie Wellington, Emma Pooley and Kathryn Bertine campaigned for a re-instatement of the women's Tour de France which ceased to be in 2009.
Now in its third year, the race continues to follow the same format as the previous two years: an 89km race over a 7km course taking in the Champs-Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe, hours before the conclusion of the legendary three week men's tour.
Rapha have been known to create supports wear for the men's Team Sky squad, to celebrate major events. Now they sponsor women's team, Canyon//SRAM, they've given the women the same treatment.
The 100% cotton t-shirt in a women's slim fit comes in at £30 and features a screen printed emblem which celebrates the major landmarks of the race. There's a matching cap, at £20, which features designs along the sides, rear, and neatly printed on the inside.
In case you were in any doubt, TWC will be at the race on Sunday to catch all of the action and report back - as we did last year.
As well as creating the casual supporter wear, Rapha have expanded their range of replica Canyon//SRAM kit with added 'Core' garments - the brand's more value for money orientated range. The pro level 'Souplesse' Canyon//SRAM kit continues to be available for women only, but men can also support the team with stylish Core kit.
