Marianne Vos and her Rabo-Liv teammate Pauline Ferrand-Prevot have proved themselves to be somewhat unstoppable in 2014.
Eager to continue their success and show their diverse range of talent, both girls have announced that they will represent the Rabo-Liv team at select World Cup mountain bike events in 2015.

Ferrand-Prévot is coming off an incredible 2014 season that saw her win the elite women’s world championship on the road and cyclocross. She also bagged victories in the French national championships in road, time trial, cyclocross and cross-country. The 22-year-old also collected her first XC World Cup victories, winning races in the Czech Republic and Germany. For 2015, she is aiming to continue her success in various disciplines.

“I love being able to compete at the highest levels both on-road and off-road,” said Ferrand-Prévot. “A big part of why I ride is for the adventure, and it motivates me to try and excel in all the different disciplines. Liv is developing great bikes and gear for all the different types of riding that women do, and I love being part of that process.”

Vos, one of the most dominant athletes the sport of cycling has ever seen, is also a well-rounded competitor who likes to race in different formats. The 27-year-old Dutch star has won multiple world championships in road racing, track and cyclocross, and has also been successful in XC racing, including sweeping this year’s Sea Otter Classic XC races. Despite losing her world championship titles to Ferran-Prevot in 20014, Vos had another successful season with wins at The Women’s Tour, the Giro d’Italia Femminile and La Course and this success will no doubt continue in 2015.

“I’m really looking forward to joining Pauline next year and doing some more World Cup mountain bike races,” said Vos. “We’re fortunate to be able to race as teammates on the road and have the freedom to focus on XC races at the top level as well. For me, that keeps it fun, being able to experience all different types of cycling competition.”
