MTB Events: Mind, Body and Bikes with Katy Curd

Katy Curd has teamed up with Pure Body Balance to host an MTB retreat

Mountain bike training camps, coaching and women’s specific events are geared towards encouraging more women to ride.

At Total Women’s Cycling, we don’t just focus on the bikes, the kit and the skills, but we’re dedicated to improving your cycling performance and fitness through lifestyle and training too.

In order to achieve your best on the bike, you need to take care of yourself through a well balanced diet, and careful training, stretching and healthy well-being.

Traditionally, coaching and training camps offer expert advice on bike skills, riding and general set-up. However, a new MTB Retreat event is being hosted by Pure Body Balance which aims to cover so much more.

Pure Body Balance is ran by a Karen Maidment and Adrian Stokes who are driven to promote a fitness, well-being and nutrition through a varieties of therapies and products.

Having success with their training and nutrition plans amongst professional athletes, the husband and wife duo have teamed up with World 4X Champion, and Elite downhill racer, Katy Curd to host the first MTB retreat.

Where: Pure Body Balance Centre for Wellbeing & Fly Up 417, Gloucestershire

Pure Body Balance is ran by a Karen Maidment and Adrian Stokes who are driven to promote a fitness, well-being and nutrition through a varieties of therapies and products.

Having success with their training and nutrition plans amongst professional athletes, Pure Body Balance has teamed up with World 4X Champion, and Elite downhill racer, Katy Curd to host the first MTB retreat.

The first of its kind, this event will focus on training, body fundamentals and how to prepare your body for a day of trail shredding. Circuits will help with stamina, flexibility and strength which are essential for improving your mountain bike performance.

Taking place at the Pure Body Balance centre, in the morning, the group will then move onto the bike park where Katy Curd will demonstrate key skills, how to navigate terrain and build your confidence up on the bike.

This all-encompassing retreat is perfect for those who not only want to hone in their mountain bike skills, but also want to understand their body, your diet and well-being.
