We do love vertical stripes at TWC towers, in fact, we're attracted to them like there's some sort if in built stripe-magnet in our hands and heads - so these Souplesse socks from Rapha went down a hit with us.

If you're the kind of rider who struggles with cold feet, even as spring begins to turn to summer, then these DeFeet bad boys could be the answer.

The Woolie Boolie socks use 64% wool, which DeFeet claim is of the highest grade available. The warm material is constructed to allow breathability, keeping your feet cooler when it's warm but toasty in the rain and wind.

These are for the riders who like to pull their socks up high before setting off - and with this awesome design (bold stripes in blue or pink also available), you'll have something to show off.

Shutt Velo Rapide socks

Feeling rapid? Make sure everyone knows about it with these socks from Shutt Velo Rapide.

Made from a mixture of Skinlife antibacterial fibers, Lycra, Polimmide and Elastico, these will provide a nice firm, close-to-foot fit that's breathable, and non-whiffy, too.

Mesh webbing is used on the top of the foot, for extra breathability, and a high density elastic section at the mid-foot avoids slippage, whilst a flat-seam tow will keep chafing at bay.
