Tweed love bike festival is ten day event packed full of biking activities in the Tweed Valley, Scotland. The popular festival is currently in its fourth year and attracts cyclists from all over the UK. Activities include XC, Enduro, Downhill and much more, there is something for everyone.
The enduro event; POC, King and Queen of the hill was introduced in 2011 and has proved a popular event. Tweed Love will be hosting the first ever UK round of the World Enduro series in 2014 due to the reputation of the festival.
Whether you enjoy mountain biking, road riding or both, the festival caters for all abilities, disciplines and ages. Tweed love really is an action packed event with over twenty events to try. Entries for the 2014 are expected to open in February. The festival is sponsored by Alpine bikes and amongst the activities on offer are Skinny Tweed, a 44 mile road ride, a bivvy night near Peebles, Tweed Love Dirtbag; a teenager’s ride for 12 to 18 year olds and a Dual Slalom from Sweet Protection.
