Night Riders

Night Rider events are unique night rides that take place once a year with over 160 charity partners. Night Riders London and Paris are two events set up by Classic Tours. The company have been responsible for organising worldwide charity events since 1992. The event isn’t aimed at beginners due to the length; the route is 100km and will be in traffic at night. The aim is to raise money for charity as well as having the opportunity to get out and ride and see London’s most iconic landmarks.

Riders start at five minute intervals with 100 riders at each start with two start points, one in South London, Crystal Palace and North London at Alexandra Palace, riders are able to pick both start point and start time finishing the ride in the same place they began. The event began in 2010 with only 300 cyclists, since then 2013 saw the event take place in Paris for the first time after the success of London night ride which saw over 4000 riders take part. The route takes cyclists through well-lit areas and is designed so cyclists can take their time.

Riders must be at least 18 to take part and are given the option to pay one of two entry fees, and raise money for their chosen charity.
