Remember that classic 90's movie with Robert Carlyle and his band of merry men... Well, you can have a pair of your very own stripper trousers for cycling in.
Waterproof clothing can often be rolled up and tucked away into your bag for emergency rainfall. When it comes to trousers, it can be a pain to get them on over your shoes, or having to remove your shoes which often leads to an extraordinary balancing act.
Danish company, Vear have developed waterproof trousers for cyclists which are both protective and faff free. The concept for Legs Jacket has been launched on Kickstarter today with the hopes of raising $22,000 in pledges to get their trousers off the ground.
The key feature of the Legs Jacket is that they are designed so cyclists can easily get them on and off in seconds, without removing their shoes. The trousers are not only waterproof, but they are breathable also. This keeps the air flow circulating, keeping you cool as you ride.
Legs Jacket are made with special reflective features that remain black and discreet during the day, but provide 360° visibility at night. The pants are lightweight and can be quickly folded and stored in their own back pocket, and attached to a bike seat.
Vear offer a variety of urban cycling apparel, with Legs Jacket being their flagship design. The super early bird offer is $89 via their Kickstarter page. You can pledge as much or as little as your like with varying level of reward. For more information, and to make a pledge, head to their website here.
