Trek’s off-road bikes are some of the best on the market and they’ve got a roster of impressive athletes constantly putting them through their paces.

The bike brand they have helped nurture legendary female riders such as multiple Enduro World Champion, Tracy Moseley.

Since transferring from Kona to Trek in 2009, Tracy has dominated the world of women’s enduro with her most recent World Enduro win in 2015. This inspiring athlete has been representing Trek Bikes on the podium and on the trails for 6 successful years.

Tracy Moseley won her 3rd EWS title on her custom built carbon framed Trek Remedy 29er, equipped with 140mm of travel and a full Shimano groupset. Although Tracy announced that she wouldn’t be defending her EWS title in 2016, she continues to race for Trek Bikes.

The athlete support grows for 2016

The start of 2016 has seen exciting new faces join the Trek women’s roster, including Casey Brown, Katy Winton and downhill World Cup winner, Rachel Atherton.

Along with her two brothers, Rachel Atherton has signed with Trek Bikes for the 2016 season where she will compete to defend her World Cup title on the mighty Trek Session. The Trek Session is a beast of a ride with 203mm of front travel on a viper red carbon frame, rolling on chunky 650b Bontrager team tyres. Rachel is a inspiration to thousands of female riders, and her partnership with Trek Bikes proves to make for an exciting race year.

Casey Brown has joined Trek Factory Racing this year as a former Queen of Crankworx, and multi-discipline rider. Casey will be riding in a number of EWS rounds, gravity races, and competing for the coveted Queen of Crankworx title.

Meanwhile, Katy Winton finished 2015 as the Scottish enduro champion and finished 10th in the EWS. Katy will be competing in all rounds of the Enduro World Series this year for Trek Bikes.

These new faces join an already impressive women’s roster for Trek’s off-road division. This unstoppable female force is definitely one to watch out for on the mountains this season.

Trek Dirt Series

It’s not just about the pros. The Dirt Series have been running women’s specific MTB camps across the US and Canada for over 10 years. With the aim of improving skills, confidence and social comradery amongst female riders, the Dirt Series welcomed a partnership with Trek in 2009.

Supplying the women’s MTB camp with their range of WSD bikes including the Lush, Remedy and Slash, Trek Bikes offer support and encouragement to the Dirt Series to help promote the next generation of hobbyists and athletes alike.
